We have this awkward nook in our room and I have been trying to figure out what to do with it. Well today I finally decided to frame up some pictures.

**The walls look kind of pink in the pictures but they are more of an off-white/tan color in person.**

My next goal: line the drawers so you can't see all the crap inside -- especially since Justin can't seem to keep his clothes folded neatly!!!

Happy 2nd Anniversary!

Today I have been married to my best friend for 2 years. It's been a long couple years and so much has happened, but there's no person to better share my journey with.

These are the beautiful flowers Justin brought home for me this morning. They're the same kind of roses we had at our wedding.

Last week Jake took me to dinner to celebrate Avery's impending arrival.

We went to Bouchon Bistro and of course they took amazing care of us. The best part of the night (besides the company of course) was the dessert they brought out. I told Jake we could share one, and he insisted that we each have our own.

I'm glad he knew what he was talking about!

Today Holli had her scheduled c-section.

I had originally planned to go visit them at the hospital, but when I had to go into the doctors at my lunch anyways, I took a long lunch and stopped by to visit the littlest Johnson.

Music in the Park!

Every summer the town puts on a series called "Music in the Park" at Veteran's Park downtown. It's a bunch of amateur bands and you bring blankets or chairs or whatever you want and just listen. The sell pizza and hot dogs and you bring your own beer or wine.

We've gone with our friends Holli & Steve and their son Steven the last two weeks. It will be the last time we go with them for a while since next weekend is 4th of July holiday and we will be out of town and the next week Holli is having their second son!

He's all grown up now...

On Thursday Jake graduated from high school. After everything we've been through, I am so proud of him.

In August --after Avery's born of course-- he will be taking off to Europe for a couple of weeks with a friend. I always wanted to do that so I am just a little envious. I know he'll have a great time! Once he gets back he'll be moving to the Peninsula to go to Foothill College in Los Altos.

I keep telling myself there is no way he can take care of himself all alone in a new town, but I know he can. I just still think of him as a little kid. I'm happy he will be moving away and experiencing a new place for this new phase in his life, but I am even happier that he's not moving too far and I can still see him often!

Now to get Thomas through high school and I will finally be able to sleep at night -- ya right!

Today Jake went to his senior prom. I can't believe how many pictures I took!

Now that we are pretty settled in our new house Lola is taking full advantage of her new yard. This weekend has been beautiful, and she's spent a good amount of her day in the yard. This afternoon I looked out the window and this is what I saw.

Home Sweet Home!

Justin & I have been looking for a house with at least two rooms for Pistachio. We found a house on Craigslist on Friday and looked at it on Saturday. We loved it right away and applied right then and there.

The landlady called our references on Monday and Monday afternoon we found out that we got the place!

We had another great appointment and finally feel okay with announcing that we will be adding to our family!

Justin has dubbed this baby Pistachio, and after all the acrobatics we saw today, is now calling him/her Pistachio the Magnificent. So without further ado...
